HI Mom

Loading up one's life onto a trailer and moving it across country is shitty. Sure you can look at the fact that your starting anew which is exciting but the fact that you need to move before that happens sucks. After loading up the trailer and the flow mobile Lea and I sad good buy to the south east.

Starting in Knoxville I drove to Lexington Ky where I met up with Lea. From there we headed to Minneapolis MN (Egan MN actually) where we spent two days at a campground playing cards and hanging out with family and friends. Continuing on we headed to Red Lodge MT for a week of visiting.

While in the Lodge I had the chance to catch up on liver disease as well as float the Yellowstone with my friends Brian, Joby, and Anny (sorry no pics of that floating clown show). I caped Red Lodge off with the second annual Rock Creek Kayak Race, a slalom style race on the class 2+/3? section through town. I wish I knew where i sat in the results, but in typical Red Lodge fashion the race was timed (we headed to Missoula before the results were announced) results were announced once and everyone promptly forgot what happened.

The drive to Missoula was uneventful but we got in really late in the evening and then it was up pre-dawn and off to Marysville Wa. Western MT and Eastern WA had there usual stupid high winds, i was driving like a drunk vulture. Eventually we hit Snoqualmie pass and after a long climb we coasted into the mellow traffic and good drivers of the I-5 corridor. Pulling into my parents house early in the afternoon.

It took me a couple of days before i wanted to drive anywhere again.
