and the scarfs just keep on coming!

Ok so with the scarfs cut for the chine logs it's time to make the first side panel. Three sheets of Ocome to create one giant sheet.
so here are the three sheets laid out to be joined. Just like the Oak only softer. One problem i ran into was the lack of a good sanding block. I thought that these were something one could find at a wood shop but as i am finding more and more wood shops around the Knoxville Tn area are as useless at tits on a rusty gas can. So i made my own.
Than i sanded my way to some good looking scarf joints.

Once paper thin and ready for glue, the plyood and oak got laid out on the floor for epoxy.
Once glued up it was time to turn the light off of this project and let chemistry to its work.
