Whew, I would love to say its been an easy week but that would be a outright lie. The boats at the Pacific Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building are coming along great but life has some other things in store for me.
Upon returning from our fantastic McKenzie river trip i found out that the lease on our house was not going to be renewed. Usually this wouldn't be a big deal but i'm almost finished with school and am not sure where i am headed next. Ah decisions, decisions.
So i don't know what the hell i'm going to do. I really just want to build and design river boats, Port Townsend isn't the best place to do it but its also not the worst. As per usual it will all work out in the end.
In the meantime lets look at how the boats are coming along shall we??
As you can see the canvas decks are being laid, as well as the soul (floor) of the boats.
Hatch comings are shaping up.
Juice Box's little band saw cut.
Anyhow, its all getting there. I'll try and get an IRH update in the next day or so.
Cheers.
Really Excellent work! Looking forward to seeing these boats at Lee's Ferry! Do you have a tentative launch date?
