Mountain Ash aka Rowan is everywhere here in Red Lodge. Its basically a root suckering weed around here. So when a friend cut a bunch out of his yard and offered it to me i thought why not? Worst case scenario ill have some firewood come next winter.
So i set it up on the band saw and gave it a go.
Lets just say that if this stuff dries without checking to badly i'm going to have some fun with this wood.
I have some re-sawed and stickerd and some drying in log form.
