Nailed it!

Over the last few days we have had a crazy time in the shop. I tried feebly to explain how much like a scripted performance bending in ribs is but reading back i can tell i did not stick the landing. Now that the smoke has cleared lets have a look at what's going on.

The way Ben designed and we lofted/constructed these boats there needs to be a little wedgeamegigger under the frames so the garbord plank lands on a good footing. This also creates a opportune time to tune up the rabbet to except the plank.  One may think this is fun and games but its slow tedious work, just look at the joy in Ben's face.

Meanwhile next door I was crawling around bolting and screwing the frames to the clamp and thwart riser. Also tedious, but at least, well at least we are all in this together.

So now that the week is over were so close to planking you can almost feel it. If all goes well the planking stock will arrive next week and we can get going.

I hope to get some things done on the IRH tomorrow.
