Quickie

Here are some quick opics of the last bit on both the IRH and the Powell boats. I would love to wright more but i really want to get back to the garage and work on the IRH.

I installed the front bulkhead on the IRH. I'm waiting to do any epoxy work untill the internal structure is in so that everything can be tabbed and taped at once.

On the Powell boats we have been working on the deck structure for Maid of the Canyon and are starting to make floor timbers for Kitty Clyde's Sister.

Right, i'm off to the car hole to work on the IRH.

    1. I have never considered using a MDF for a boat hull. It has always seemed to heavy and if water is introduced it soaks it up like a sponge. I would however love to see a sustainable product like fiber board introduced to the plywood boat market. It would be fun to do some tests.
